The Department of Political Science is thrilled to announce that Dr. Cedric Johnson, Professor - Black Studies & Political Science, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025-2026 UIC Research and Scholarship Award and has also been recognized as the Distinguished Researcher Award honoree in Social Sciences. This is a tremendous source of joy for all of us. The awardees will be honored at a ceremony in April at the Field Museum, as part of UIC Research Week. Congratulations, Cedric!
