Mock Trial Success
Our UIC Mock Trial Team advanced to national-level competition for the 21st consecutive year following a great performance this past weekend at the AMTA Joliet Regional Tournament.
This is particularly a great feat, because it was our "B" team that secured the bid. More importantly, we only returned one member from last year's team. So, 15/16 members of the program (and every member of the B team) are new to collegiate mock trial.
The team also secured two individual awards.
The team will compete in the Opening Round of the Championship Series in Kane County on March 11-13. If we advance, we will head to the AMTA National Championship Tournament in Greenville, SC in April.
This accomplishment is due in large part to our great longtime coaches Ryan Nolte (UIC '08) and Victor Erbring (UIC '97).
