Jeremiah is an aspiring scholar of modern and contemporary political thought with a focus on collective action and power in online spaces. They are primarily engaged with theorists such as Hannah Arendt, Karl Marx, Shoshana Zuboff, and Michael Foucault.
Research Currently in Progress
Jeremiah's current research is focused on tackling the question of what kinds of politics happen in online spaces and its effects on the ability to organize in order to activate a power potential. Their secondary research interests are engaged in critical analysis of 19th and 20th century political economy and its depictions of catastrophe.
