Maddie is a first-year student at the University of Illinois Chicago in the Department of Political Science. She graduated from Purdue University in 2022 with Honors summa cum laude with a degree in Political Science. Maddie was awarded the UIC University Fellowship for research and teaching assistantship.
In her free time, Maddie enjoys updating her Goodreads, going to rock concerts, and drinking overpriced lattes.
Research Currently in Progress
Maddie's focus is in comparative politics with a special interest in East Asia and post-Soviet nations. Her other research interests include critical theory, feminist theory, and political communication.
